Nisar Office Studio for Windows ยท Effective date: 20 October 2026
In short: Nisar Office Studio works offline. It does not collect, upload, sell or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your documents stay on your computer.
None. The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking code, and it does not send your documents, settings or any information about you or your computer to the developer or to anyone else.
The app does not need an internet connection. It only goes online when you ask it to, for example when you click a link in a document (which opens in your web browser or mail app). If a document you open contains pictures that are linked from a web address rather than stored in the file, Windows may download those pictures, the same way a web browser would.
If you install the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the download, updates and any reports you choose to send through Windows. That is covered by Microsoft's own privacy statement, not by this policy.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Nisar Office Studio is open-source software under the MIT licence, so anyone can check what it does by reading its source code.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
